We will begin with an introduction to the types of legal matters in which weather evidence is critical, the services our weather experts provide, how to select a qualified
weather expert, unusual cases we’ve encountered, etc. Weather expert Jim Bria will then present a truck accident case study. Jim will walk participants through the his
methodology, data sources, analytical process, conclusions, and common challenges raised by opposing experts. Attendees will gain insight into when weather expertise is
essential, how opinions are formed, and how forensic meteorology can impact liability and case outcomes.
