NFPA Webinar: LGBTQ+ for Legal Professionals

We’ve seen the various Pride flags. We’ve seen the letters. We’ve heard the discourse about pronouns. But what does it all mean? And how can you as a legal professional understand it better?

With this presentation, Jenn Echikson (an ally, advocate, mother of a transgender woman, and a member of the queer community herself) hopes to foster understanding, respect, equity, and inclusivity by explaining key terms and identities within the LGBTQ+ spectrum, concepts such as biological sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, and gender expression, and the history of Pride and the meanings behind the flags, as well as how you as a paralegal can promote inclusion and affirming legal practices for your LGBTQ+ clients.

Worth 1 DEI CLE Credit
