Consumers have a wide variety of mobile messaging platforms that they can freely use on a daily basis. While this opportunity benefits the average consumer, it also benefits bad actors looking to hide or obfuscate communication. Furthermore, with an increased societal and regulatory concern on consumer privacy, we have also seen an influx of communication applications that heavily leverage end-to-end encryption, or designed ephemerality. This changing landscape impacts a variety of stakeholders- IT, information security, forensic investigators, and legal professionals need to be aware of their options to detect, collect, and analyze data from these sources. This panel discussion will feature experts in this space who will discuss the contemporary landscape, available workflows, and ongoing issues and implications to consider moving forward.

This webinar is worth 1.0 CLE credit.
