Greater Lexington Paralegal Association
The GLPA was formed in 1980, then known as the Lexington Paralegal Association, by a small group of paralegals wanting to move the profession forward. In 1990, the LPA applied for and was accepted by the NFPA to become a member. By 1993, the LPA board voted to expand our membership to include paralegals working outside of Lexington, but close enough to be involved, thus changing our name to the Greater Lexington Paralegal Association which became effective in 1994.
