Convention Charity
North Texas Food BankFriday, October 10 was “Denim Up” day. Proceeds benefited the North Texas Food Bank. (www.ntfb.org)
North Texas Food Bank is a Dallas-based non-profit that pursues a hunger free community. They provide approximately 130,000 meals a day spread across 13 Texas counties, and support the nutritional needs of children, families and seniors through education and advocacy. This association has a large and strong impact. Every dollar donated to NTFB provides three meals to hungry North Texans, and out of every dollar, 94 cents goes directly to hunger relief programs.
