Medical records are the cornerstone of many legal cases, yet collecting, organizing, and analyzing these records is no small task. Records must be identified and obtained from many sources—a time consuming often frustrating task – and then organized, reviewed and distributed to experts and clients. By adopting key strategies and best practices, law firms can better leverage staff making cases more manageable, reduce costs and save time.

Learning Objective:
- Identify the steps of requesting locating, requesting and tracking medical - Recognize the key portions of a medical chart and how to organize the records;
- Perform necessary reviews of records for red flags, expert needs and production of chronologies;
- Compose medical exhibits and demonstratives for trials and depositions.
