With technology and the want to expand our views always evolving, the world has been introduced to drones.  Did you know that private citizens as well as professionals can be investigated and/or penalized by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for operating a drone?  Attorney Darrell Dethlefs, an FAA Certified Ground Instructor, FAA Certified Flight Instructor, licensed Airline Transport Pilot, and licensed Commercial Pilot (Airplane/Seaplane and Rotorcraft) will discuss how private citizens as well as professionals can be investigated and/or penalized by the FAA for failure to hold a proper operating license while operating a drone, possible violations by the FAA, and possible penalties  rendered by the FAA.  Attorney Dethlefs will also discuss what is required by the FAA to obtain such licenses and certifications as well as various issues that can arise from the process.
