You are applying for Emeritus status.

Emeritus status is typically requested for when an individual is retiring but wishes to retain their credential. Applying for Emeritus Status is a two-step process. On the next screen your $50 payment will be processed. To complete the second step, follow the link in your receipt to our review platform, Submittable, for submission of the request to the Director of Paralegal Certification. Both steps are required to process your request. Once approved by the DPC for emeritus status, the individual adds the "Emeritus" designation after their credential, e.g. “Jane Doe, RP Emeritus” instead of “Jane Doe, RP.” No CLE maintenance is required.
