| Programs | The Programs Committee is responsible for providing networking opportunities within a social setting, coordinating the annual meeting and bi-monthly membership meetings. |
| Newsletter | The Newsletter Committee is responsible for the production of CAPTIONS, currently published quarterly. |
| Bar Association Liaison | The Bar Liaison is responsible for establishing and maintaining contact with members of the local Bar Associations as well as being appointed to the Connecticut Bar Association's Standing Committee on Legal Assistants, attending its meetings and maintaining contact with the Connecticut Bar Association and for monitoring their activities which may affect the paralegal profession. |
| By-Laws/Corporate | The By-Laws/Corporate Committee reviews the by-laws and make recommendations for changes and/or revisions to same. Maintain corporate documents such as Biennial Report and files same in a timely manner as well as any other corporate documents as may be required. |
| Continuing Education | The Continuing Education Committee is responsible for overseeing the development and production of CAP sponsored seminars, including topic selection, format, speaker selection and contact, brochure production, mailing registration and follow up. |
| Job Bank | The Job Bank Committee communicates the available jobs to prospective applicants, acts as referral to membership and maintains and updates listing of potential jobs. |
| Membership | The Membership Committee is responsible for the processing of all CAP membership applications, organizing the fall membership drive, updating and distribution of CAP brochures, preparing CAP membership directory, answering questions from people interested in becoming CAP members. |
| Nominating Committee | The Nominating Committee is responsible for soliciting qualified candidates for Board positions and committee chair positions. The Committee responds to inquiries about positions and conducts elections. |
| Paralegal School Liaison | The Paralegal School Liaison maintains a working relationship and interacts with paralegal schools in Fairfield County, Connecticut and coordinates schools' requests for information and speakers. |
| Pro Bono | The Pro Bono Committee chairperson is to act as a liaison between volunteer matters and CAP's members. The Chairperson is also to explore new volunteer ventures and present them to the membership. |
| Publicity | The Publicity Committee is responsible for preparing press releases for CAP activities such as seminars and programs. The Committee is also responsible for promoting CAP within the legal community and to the general public. |
| Survey | The Survey Committee is responsible for inquiries within the membership of CAP for the purpose of improving our knowledge and informing membership of data received and summarized of which will result in the enhancement of our organization and personal roles as Paralegals. |
| Professional Development | To monitor the expansion and/or trends of the paralegal profession on a Committee state by state basis. |
