OHIO PARALEGAL NAMED CORPAMERICA, INC., PARALEGAL OF THE YEAR
Carolyn Saenz, a paralegal with The Western and Southern Life Insurance Company ("Western-Southern") in Cincinnati, Ohio, has been selected as the National Federation of Paralegal Associations Inc. ("NFPA") Paralegal of the Year. CorpAmerica, Inc., a corporate services company headquartered in Dover, Delaware, sponsors the award to recognize a paralegal who has contributed to expansion of the paralegal profession.
Ms. Saenz's essay described the various ways in which she has moved beyond typical job duties and assume added responsibilities that resulted in cost savings, added efficiency, added professionalism, increased visibility, or other positive factors for her employer and for the paralegal profession.
In addition to her contributions at Western-Southern, Ms. Saenz has been active in the Cincinnati Paralegal Association for 15 years. She currently serves NFPA as membership growth coordinator and is a member of the PACE liaison committee, responding to nationwide inquiries about the exam. She presents numerous seminars. Ms. Saenz holds a bachelor's degree in administrative management from the University of Cincinnati.
Ms. Saenz was presented her plaque at the NFPA fall convention in Atlanta, Georgia, by CorpAmerica, which recently marked its tenth anniversary. CorpAmerica, offers a full range of corporate services nationally and internationally.
