NFPA VIDEO RECEIVES SECOND NATIONAL AWARD
12 Promises Productions (12 Promises) and the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA) are pleased to announce that the video "Paralegals: Enhancing Practice, Professionalism and Profitability," produced by 12 Promises for NFPA and sponsored by the West Group, was named winner of a 2001 Silver Remi Award at the Houston (TX) International Film Festival.
The announcement was made at the 34th annual WorldFest-Houston, sponsored by the Houston Film Society. The Festival attracted more than 4,300 international entries from 30 nations in feature films, documents, commercials, screenplays, and documentaries. The video previously received a 2000 Telly Award for excellence.
Says NFPA past president Sally Andress, RP, during whose term of office the video was filmed, "The video has been a valuable tool with which to educate both new and practicing lawyers of benefits they can realize by including paralegals on the legal services team. We are delighted with this most recent recognition of the video's value."
